London Egg hunt!

A couple of weeks ago me & Mark went out to see some of the Fabergé Eggs that have been scattered over London as part of the Big Egg Hunt! At first I didn't see the point of the whole thing, but the more I saw friends' posts on Facebook about it, the more I got excited and wanted to see the eggs myself! Lol, I am so easily influenced... This is what I wore on the day (pic is crappy cause it was so, so sunny on the day!):

Skirt, tops: Cop.Copine
Cardi: Tokyo fashion
Bag: Wonderful world
Cross, bows: handmade
Shoes: Melissa x VW

Now on to the eggs! We started at Selfridges, where the first 8 eggs were, and continued on to Mayfair and then eventually ended up in Soho cause we were starving and needed to get to the Vitao all-you-can-eat vegan buffet (where we bumped into Mel & Alex!)

I really liked the one with the unicorn hatching and the ones that were angel-themed. The 4th from the end had an angel hatching from it, and I liked how it was placed up above and in front of a pretty church! This coming weekend I think that they will gather all the eggs together in Covent Garden. I am kinda tempted to pass by and see them, but I guess it will depend on how much work & writing I manage to get done...

Anyway, that's it for this entry, hope everyone has a great Easter!

Nice outfit! Cult party kei is such a tricky style to pull-off without looking ridiculous/awkward and I think you really can pull that style very well! Kudos.

That egg hunt sounds fun. Thanks for sharing the photos, some of these are really cool!

Thank you so much, Julie!
Ha ha tbh, I don't mind too much if I look ridiculous anyway, so it didn't cross my mind! Cult party is just such a comfy style to wear, I find! :)

Thank you very much, Hilde!
I remember your post, cause that was the first time I heard about the eggs actually! I remember reading and then going "wtf, what's that about some eggs in London...?" to my husband. You can tell I don't go out much lol >.

I have the exact same thing, if I don't discover things by accident I never know they're there :)
Shows how much interest I have in the outside world :)

Ha ha that's how I felt seeing all the updates by all my friends on FB! I went from not giving a rat's to > 'find ALL the eggs!!' :D

Aw you are so kind, but crazy for sure!! XD I don't feel like that at all, I need to take about 100 pics to look good in a single one :'C

Hmmm maybe it is? I dunno really! I thought it was ending after Easter! We should have organized a big egg hunting meet, it would have been so nice (though I know how difficult and expensive it must be for everyone outside of London to attend, that's a bummer...). It is kind of addictive, but sadly I don't have the time to go looking for more, it does take a good day just to see a fraction!

Thank you very much, I am glad you like them! i am not really into crafts cause I can't really do anything properly... I barely know how to do a straight stitch on the sewing machine and that's after my husband threads it for me, I am so pathetic ha ha
